The Focus Point is crucial for the success of any organization. Very successful focus points will allow the organization to rally, and swarm to the final objective. A very well known example was Walmart's "Every day low prices". With such powerful focus point, it is no coincidence that Walmart went on to become one of the most efficient companies in the world. More recently Walmart abandoned this very successful focus point and several challenges emerged from a once unstoppable organization. The issues become so obvious, that in a recent article from Business Week Walmart is said to be going through its "middle life crisis".  Very successful focus point The success of the BPM is the ability to have everyone pulling in the same direction. The more successful focus points will always be the ones that put the customer in the central point.
