What is Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)? |
|
The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is the new standard to model business process flows and web services created by the Business Process Management Initiative (BPMI). It's main goals are: - provide a notation that is readily understandable by all business users.
- Business Analysts that create the initial drafts of the processes t
- technical developers responsible for implementing the technology that will perform those processes
- ensure that XML languages designed for the execution of business processes, such as BPEL4WS (Business Process Execution Language for Web Services) and BPML (Business Process Modeling Language), can be visually expressed with a common notation.
