 Daniel Murry is a Georgia Tech graduate with over 20 years experience as a business executive and a systems architect. Dan is a firm advocate of the bio-design that allow its systems to adapt and to evolve.
Dan obtained a degree in Information and Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Fresh out of school, Dan applied his bleeding edge technology concepts to develop revolutionary systems for the retirement investing plan industry. The systems were designed in the 1980s, incorporating technologies as such as distributed processing, IVR, clustering and load balancing. His design was so revolutionary that it caught the attention of a major industry incumbent which acquired his company. This allowed Dan to continue to refine its architectural concepts and to develop his entrepreneurial skills. As the organization grew, Dan was responsible for the daily processing and client servicing of the retirement plan accounts for over 2500 corporations, almost 1 million employee plan participants and an asset base of seven billion dollars. While most of Dan’s competitors ran their retirement plan centers as a loss leader, Dan's organization was profitable. After a twenty year very successful run Dan decided to take some time to study new technology trends and how to apply them to areas where they would be most beneficial to the general population. Dan sees the new trend in complex adaptive systems applied to healthcare, climatology, government and public safety as major forces fostering a balanced environment towards a sustainable society. |
